Matt Traks – Formerly vocals & guitar for Frederick Band, Signs Point East, began work on bringing his unique musical vision to life toward the end of 2017. He has spent countless hours honing his skills and leveling up his production capabilities and, while he still has a long journey ahead of him, has several songs under his belt and ready to release. Look for these in the upcoming months.
Approximately one year prior to him beginning his self-journey, Matt was involved in what would be a forever life-changing event: The total destruction of all material possessions, including band and music equipment, at the hands of a freak house fire accident. During the fire, Matt sustained 3rd degree burns to his feet and had to be air lifted to the hospital via helicopter. Through the love and help of many friends, family, and fans, Matt and his Signs Point East brethren were able to put their lives back together, although the band would never be the same again. Matt has re-emerged, a Phoenix rising from the ashes of despair, ready to fly. You are invited on this journey with him as he blends old and new to his own tastes.
